Mme. Laura is from the Paris region, where she taught as Professeur des écoles for 6 years before moving to Florida in 2012. That same year, Le Petit Prince was founded and Ms. Laura served as our school’s first teacher and curriculum coordinator for many years. She has since gone on to earn her Master’s degree in French Language from FAU while teaching as an adjunct professor of French literature and culture, ultimately returning to Le Petit Prince as its Academic Director. In this capacity, Ms. Laura now provides guidance, training, and professional development to support our team of teachers and assistants in following and implementing the French national curriculum as well as maintaining the high standards required by the French Ministère de l’éducation nationale of accredited schools educating students outside of mainland France. Ms. Laura speaks French, English, and Portuguese.
Mme. Katia is originally from Paris, France, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toulouse. She earned the coveted title Professeur des écoles from the French Ministry of Education in 2001, serving as both teacher and director in French public schools. Ms. Katia speaks French, Spanish, and English.
Mme. Elodie is originally from Dreux in the Loire region. She holds a professional degree in Early Childhood Education, known in France as a CAP, and developed her passion for children’s education working in preschools and Montessori schools in France. Ms. Elodie speaks French and English.
Mme. Danielle is originally from Abidjan, the capital of the Ivory Coast. She is a certified VPK teacher and has been teaching in Pennsylvania and Florida over the last 20 years. Ms. Danielle speaks French, English, and Spanish.
Mme. Julie is originally from Perigueux, in southwestern France. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Bordeaux and has served in a variety of roles in schools in Pennsylvania and Florida. Ms. Julie speaks French, English, and some Spanish.
Mme. Stacie is originally from Brooklyn, New York. As a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (1988 and 1991 respectively) from Brooklyn College. She is passionate about helping children through language therapy, whether using early intervention for the youngest ones or working with elementary school aged children. Language: English. |
Mme. Nisrine is originally from Rabat, in Morocco. She has been teaching in French international (MLF and AEFE) schools there as well as in Egypt for over 25 years. Ms. Nisrine is a certified educator who has taught classes at the high school, middle school, and elementary level. Ms. Nisrine speaks French, Arabic, and English.
Mme. Julie is originally from Tarbes, in the Pyrenees region of southern France. There, she started and ran her own business working with children before deciding to become a teacher and passing the necessary certifications. Ms. Julie speaks French, English, and some Spanish.
Mme. Melanie is Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud consequat. Ms. Melanie speaks French and English.
Mme. Florence is originally from Haiti, where she founded and directed a French preschool which in time became accredited and grew to Grade 12. She is a passionate educator and celebrated stage actor. Ms. Florence speaks French, Creole, and English.
Sensei Cedric is originally from Lyon, France, where he started practicing Judo at the age of 3, competing nationally as a Judoka at 14, and beginning to coach at just 16. With Bachelor’s Degrees in Business as well as in Physical Education and Performance, Sensei Cedric moved to the US in 2003 originally teaching Judo at FIU. ln 2017 he opened the AP Training Center to share his passion for Judo and enrich the lives of others.
